American Modern Recognized by Forbes as One of America’s Best Insurance Companies for Second Year in a Row

by American Modern September 29, 2021

American Modern Insurance Group has been named one of America’s Best Insurance Companies for 2022 by Forbes magazine. This is the second year in a row the company has received Best Insurance recognition.

American Modern was nationally recognized by Forbes as one of only 35 insurance companies in the United States in the Homeowners insurance category. In 2021, American Modern was named a top provider of Homeowners insurance for the state of Ohio. The difference in 2022’s award was driven by a change in methodology used by Forbes.

“To receive this recognition once was an honor. To receive it twice, is just really amazing,” said Andreas Kleiner, President and Chief Executive Officer, American Modern. “American Modern has an ambition to become an insurance company that turns customers into fans and truly excels in ‘ease of use.’ Recognition such as this, which is driven by the opinions of our policyholders, tells me that we are well on our way to achieving our long-term goals.”

Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to produce the magazine’s 2022 America’s Best Insurance Companies for seven products: Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Pet, Term Life, Permanent Life and Dental Insurance. The winners were determined based on an independent survey from a vast sample of over 16,000 U.S. citizens spread across the nation. The survey considered customers’ overall recommendation, their general satisfaction, and five subdimensions such as financial advice, customer service, price/performance ratio, transparency, and damage/benefit ratio.
