How do I become a Registered User and what is a Profile Administrator?
All users of modernLINK® must be assigned a User ID and Password by the Profile Administrator. A Profile Administrator (who may or may not be the agency principal) controls and administers the setup of employees in your office and subproducers (if applicable) who are given access to your policies via modernLINK®. The Profile Administrator determines modernLINK® user authority, such as access to policy information (Policy Inquiry), forms (eForms) and new business quoting and policy issuance functions (Rate, Quote and Submit). A Profile Administrator must be designated for your agency and will need to complete the Profile Order Form to be registered as the Profile Administrator.

How do Registered Users access modernLINK®?
Access the modernLINK® Login using your User ID information and Password. Allows the registered user to access Policy Inquiry, eForms and Rate, Quote, Submit as authorized. For quick access, bookmark the modernLINK® sign-on page. You can access modernLINK® directly from the sign-on page and do not have to use the link on this page. If you write through a General Agency, contact your General Agency Profile Administrator for User ID and Password information.

How are Registered Users modified or deleted?
The Profile Administrator within your office will make the necessary changes by using the Security Administration screens with modernLINK®. The Profile Administrator can access these screens by clicking the User Management link in the Quick Start menu on the modernLINK® home page.
