American Modern invests heavily in the skills of our company adjusters. For you, that means a more accurate claim prepared by someone who has actually installed drywall, repaired a roof, patched a boat hull, or rebuilt a motorcycle engine.
And the education never ends. All of our adjusters continue to receive training via webinars, phone calls, and additional hands-on classes. Handling "the big one" is an insurer's real test
Our internal practices are all geared to performing well when "the big one" hits. Our goal is to close natural catastrophe (CAT) claims within 30 days of the initial report 80 percent of the time. That's setting the bar high. We deploy our most capable field staff to the hardest hit areas, we streamline any non-essential paperwork, and we expand our internal claims staff using tenured professionals from the rest of our organization.
In 2004, four hurricanes hit the U.S. within two months. We provided the high level of service our customers deserve, and that we expect of ourselves.
