Using our Web Site Content
|
| |
With more and more of our business partners developing and expanding Web sites of their own, we need to establish clear standards of how American Modern information may be used. Our intent is to balance our desire to help our partners while at the same time protecting our ownership of essential competitive and creative information.
Business partners planning to publish American Modern rates, underwriting guidelines, promotional materials, etc. on a Web site should contact us first to discuss the project and to make sure there is no inadvertent violation of these guidelines.
Proprietary or confidential information may not be published on a Web site with public access. Examples of this type of information include, but are not limited to, rates, underwriting guidelines, and product comparisons. This includes information considered to be “in the public domain” such as rates filed with a state. This kind of information can be published on the Web for access by subproducers only if the site is secured with passwords.
Promotional copy from non-secure areas of the American Modern Web site, or from printed promotional materials, may be used verbatim in a business partner’s Web site but only if the copy is identified as copyrighted by American Modern Insurance Group.
Photography or other graphic materials made available by American Modern for use by a business partner in the development of their own Web site or promotional materials aimed at the sale or marketing of American Modern products or services, may be used without credit unless otherwise specified at the time of use.
Questions should be addressed to Joe David, Vice President Marketing Services and Retention, at 513-947-5413.
