Blanket Fire - Mortgage
Similar to Blanket VSI, this product is designed to protect a lender's mortgage portfolio for limited or stated perils. While similar to forced order hazard coverage, this program is designed for local or regional lenders, and can be endorsed to protect Real Estate in Judgment (REJ) or Real Estate Owned (REO).
The premium charged is based upon the monthly outstanding loan balances by mortgage type: first, second, condominium, or home equity.
